Mancat Monday.

Flynn's Advice:
When you are on field patrol, it is a good idea to floof your tail so it keeps the introoders away.

Mum was asked some questions about their holiday so she is going to answer them the best she can.
Au and Target asked about Iceland:
Q) What are the people like? Do they like tourists or loathe them?
A) We found them very welcoming. All the people we spoke to appeared to be embarrassed by their banking crisis and were very apologetic about it.

Kari asked:
Q) How thick were the tectonic plates were where our dad was standing, and could he feel any geothermal activity coming from the fissure?
A) I don't know how thick they were at that particular spot, but they reach a maximum depth of 25,453 feet. I asked Ivor if he felt any activity beneath his feet and he said he could feel nothing at all, but if he did he would have broken the landspeed record.

Hannah and Lucy asked:
Q) Is the volcano still erupting, or dormant now.
A) When we were there, seismic activity was slowing right down but had not been officially declared dormant. It most likely is dormant now.

Brian asked:
Q) Who is the boy peeing in the water in Bergen?
A) The sculpture is actually called "The Crying Boy". It is not really surprising he is crying as he has four jets of water permanently aimed at him!
