Easy Like Sunday

After being locked up for so long and missing our Beans, I am going to make my dad take me for a relaxing stroll in the fields. Flynn will probably make mum take him mousing. He likes to walk a long way. I like to sit and look at the scenery.

Nip and Noms.

When the Beans came back from their holidays, they brought presents and yummy food back from Grr, Midnight and Cocoa and Camie's Kitties. Last night mum gave us Fancy Feast appetisers from Grr and her family. We had one of chicken and one of Tuna and they were lishus. We nommed it all up.



Flynn: We got a nippy mouse from them too. Eric doesn't do nip which I am very happy about cuz it means I get all the nip.

Not the Friday Flashback

Flynn said yesterday that mum was being lazy because she didn't do all her unpacking, so she said I had to post this photo to show why she didn't finish. I don't know what she is talking about. She doesn't realise just how tiring it is being locked up. We told her she can put up a few photos today and she said she will try and put the rest up somewhere else with a link to them when she has got more time.

This is the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The Gondoliers come through the little tunnel from the outside and then they sing to their passengers. The Beans saw Phantom of the Opera there and said it was really good.

This is the Bellagio and there is a display of it's fountains every half hour.

They took two tours when they were in Las Vegas. One was of the Hoover Dam, and they went right down inside to see the generators.
This is Lake Mead which was formed from the Colorado River when the Hoover Dam was built.

They also went to Zion National Park which was spectacular.

This formation in Zion is called the Court of the Patriarchs.

After their stay in Las Vegas, they went to Los Angeles and then on a cruise to Hawaii. This is Kilauea on Hilo which is one of the world's most active volcanoes. It has been erupting since 1983 and you can see the lava glowing at night.

They also went to Honolulu and this is Hanauma Bay which is nearby.

Another island they went to was Maui, and this is a huge Banyan tree. They said they had a wonderful time even though they missed us.

We're Free!

The Beans decided to come home again at long last and let us out of our purrison. Mum said she will post some of their holiday photos later when she has sorted them out. Grr, Midnight and Cocoa's mum, Karen, and Camie's Kitties mum, Tara organised a BBQ for them and they said they had a lovely time meeting them. Camie and Tavi came to the BBQ too and mum said they were both so good and didn't try to run off. Mum said she wouldn't trust me cuz I would have run up a tree looking for fev-vers. Talking of fev-vers, look at this great toy that we got from Grr, Midnight and Cocoa, Rascal, Riley and Max. It keeps cheeping at me and I wasn't sure about it at first, but then I whapped it. When Eric came in, he jumped on it and chewed the fev-vers. The fev-vers smelled very interesting, I could smell Grr on them. For those of you that don't know, Grr is my girl catfurrend. I was a little bit annoyed, well okay, a big bit annoyed that they didn't take me to see my Grr. Mum said that there are mousies and treats from Camie's Kitties, and a nippy mouse, Dairy Temtayshuns and Fancy Feast appetisers from Grr, Midnight and Cocoa. We haven't got any of it yet cuz mum is being lazy and hasn't unpacked very much yet. She said they have brought us home Greenies and Fancy Feast dinners. I'm a bit worried though cuz she said she has got us a cat in a bag too. Why would we want another cat, unless of course it is my sweetie Grr.

Here is Grr with The Formerly Blonde Girl. If you look, you can see she is sticking her tongue out a tiny bit. I think she is doing it to our Beans because they didn't take us with them.

This is our dad talking to Tavi's mum. Tavi was enjoying meeting everyone and getting lots of attention. Mum said we can post more kitty pictures later and of Camie too. We never really see any woofies, but the Beans said Camie was very good and they think we would like her.

Happy Anniversary!

We broke out of our purrison cell and managed to get indoors to turn the compooter on just in time to wish our Beans a happy anniversary. They have been married for 38 years today. We don't know where they are but we know they are on a ship in the middle of a big sea called the Pacific. They told us they are meeting Grr, Midnight and Cocoa's mum, and Camies Kitties mum too on Sunday. We wish we could be there with them. We will be back blogging next Thursday and we have missed all our furrends.

Tock-Tober and The Friday Flashback

Derby reminded us it was Tock-Tober so we made mum look through our photos for our Tocks.

This is our last post until the end of October as we are being locked in our purrison cell this morning. If anyone wants to teleport over and visit us we have lots of treats and toys to share. We hope you don't forget us. We will miss you for the next four weeks.

The Friday Flashback this week is from July 2007 and was originally a Mancat Monday.

Bet yoo didn't know I wuz in here. I've just been having a nice nap in the sun in the back of the trailer.

Now I'm awake I'd better check efurryfing is all right.Furrst I'll look out of this end which means I am looking towards the stables. Yup efurryfing seems ok down there.

Now I'll look out of this side. I can neerly see in the window, but I don't fink ennyone is indoors.

Now I'd better go up the uvver end and check efurryfing is ok in the tractor. Sumtimes when the tractor door is open I go inside and haf a nap.

For my last check I need to be a bit higher so I haf to git up on the tractor wing. This is higher up than the top of dad's head if he wuz stood here, so I can git a reely good vyoo of efurryfing furrom up here. Well I'm happy to say efuuryfing seems to be ok here.

Hmphhh. I've been bizzy doing all this werk and what duz Flynn do? Yep yoo got it, he's in the back of the trailer playing wiv a bit of stone or sumfing. It's a big responserbillytilly being a mancat, and it's hard werk when yoo don't git enny help furrom yer brofurr.
