Flynn: I am taking a well earned break.
I have left Eric in charge of nursing duties.

Happy Boys!
We are the happiest boys now that mum is back home with us. The people whose horses live with us put up the balloons for her. As most of you know, she came home on Sunday afternoon but hasn't felt up to using the computer until now. Also you probably all know the wonderful news that she had the histology results yesterday, and there was no sign of there being any more cancer cells present. That means that when they operated they had caught it early enough before it was able to spread so they have taken all the nasty evil cancer out. Beans are strange, mum and dad were so happy it made them cry.
Flynn: We have been doing our nursing duties and taking it in turn to look after mum. Dad put our hairy blankie on the table so we would be comfy while we keep her company.
Eric: I'm not sitting on the blankie, I am sitting on mum so she can't get away again. Dad has put the table over her so we can't jump on her tummy, but it is nice and comfy where I am.

Mum and dad and both of us want to thank everyone for all the good thoughts, purrs and prayers you have been sending. Mum has had a lot of down days before she had her good news, and dad has been reading out the comments to her and they helped to lift her spirits again.
We want to say a great big thank you to GJ's mum Carol for keeping everyone updated and for all the support she has been giving our mum.
We can't sign in to Blogger with Firefox so we are using Chrome which is a lot slower, but we see lots of others are having problems too so we hope blogger soon gets fixed again.
We won't be doing very much visiting to start off, but we hope it won't be long before mum feels good enough to give us lots more blogging time.

Purring for our Mum.
Well, today is the day. Our mum has her operation this afternoon and is expected to stay in hospital for 5 days. She probably won't feel like blogging for a week or so after, so we will be gone for about 2 weeks. Our dad is going to regularly ring GJ's mum and dad so there will be updates on his blog. We are going to miss our mum and we know she is going to miss us like crazy too.

Mancat Monday
We were taking our mum and dad for a walk in the fields and I thought I heard something, so I sat down to listen.
Yup, there is certainly something there.
Look out here I come!
Don't think you will escape from me Mr. Mousie.
Gotcha!
Eric: Huh! I came over to have a look and Flynn never even saved me a little taste.

Some Good News!
Yayyy!!! Blogger is back! We wanted to post last night because mum has had some good news at last. She went to see the surgeon to sign the consent form for the operation and get the results from the CT scan. The CT scan isn't showing anything that shouldn't be there! That means that once our mum has had the operation the cancer should be gone. We were so happy with her news that we climbed a tree to celebrate.

Playtime in the Long Grass.
Eric: I'm all crouched down. Bet no-one can see me.
Oh no! Dad came creeping up and found me.
I know Flynn is here somewhere, I just have to find him.
Haha! There he is. I'm going to pounce on him!
Huh? Where did he go? I must have missed him.
Flynn: That's strange, I'm sure something just jumped over the top of me.
Eric: I wonder if I can sneak around behind him and take him by surprise.
Flynn: Have you ever had the funny feeling that you are being watched?

Tummy Competition
We saw that the OK Cats were having a tummy competition so of course we had to enter.
Eric: This is my entry.
Flynn: And this is mine.
We have been asked for an update on our mum. She still doesn't have the date of her operation yet but she had a CT scan today, so hopefully it will be very soon now. Thank you for all the kind comments and purrs and prayers for her.
When she is in hospital, our dad is going to ring GJ's mum and she will put updates on his blog.

Visiting Friends.
When our Beans left us, the first thing they did was to introduce themselves to GJ. He looks very pleased to see them, or maybe it was the goody bag he was more interested in.
The mums and dads decided to go to Haworth where the Bronte sisters lived. This is our mum and dad in the churchyard where they were buried.
And this is GJ's mum and dad.
This is just one of the many beautiful stained glass windows in the church.
Haworth is a very old village, and a kind passer by took photos of them all together. All the flags were out for the Royal Wedding.
They went into one of the shops that sold old style things from years gone by and met Billie the cat. He didn't want to wake up to talk to them but still enjoyed some ear scritches from our mum.
When they got back to GJ's house, mum asked him if he would pose for a photo for her and of course he agreed to.
He told her he couldn't remember which was his best side so told our mum to take a photo from the other side too.
Then he asked for a full face shot and allowed his mum to have her photo taken with him too.
The next day they all went into York and saw lots of big fevvers and baby fevvers in the park. That is the bit we found most interesting. We hoped they would have brought one of the big fevvers home for us to make up for leaving us.
Then they went into York museum which was made up to look like an old street with the old houses in it.
They said it was very interesting.
The table was all set up for dinner but we don't know if they stopped for it.
The mums put the dads in the old jail but they looked quite happy to be locked up.
They all said they had a lovely time together.
As soon as they got home, I made sure I got the suitcase for my bed. If you look just behind me you will see a little ginger kitty. That is Tabatha and GJ and his mum and dad sent her to keep watch over our mum. She will help us to nurse her better.
Hmphhh! I just counted up and there are six kitty photos altogether and only one is of me. At least that is one more than Flynn has got.

Three Tummies on Tuesday.
The Beans are back just in time for us to show off our tummies, and while they were gone they saw a third tummy.
They went to visit GJ and his mum and dad and GJ showed off his lovely floofy tummy for them. Our Beans said they had a great time visiting and mum is hoping to get some more photos up tomorrow.
