Fin, A Tribute.

Late last night we heard that our dear friend Fin had taken her journey to the Rainbow Bridge. She had been diagnosed with gastro-intestinal lymphoma in November and had gone into retirement, but still came and gave some updates and flashbacks. The whole Cat Blogosphere purred for her and she enjoyed a few more months of love and pampering from her parents.
We will miss her very much, but also we will miss her stories and the events she organised like the
Cat-O-Lympics 2010 which we took great enjoyment taking part in. Also there was Hunt Week which was a given that I, Flynn would partake in. Our favourite story from Hunt Week was The Great White. Then of course there were all the stories which made us laugh and how could we possibly not mention "And The Moon". If you haven't read it before, do try to make time for it. It will help to lighten a very sad day.
Fin, we will miss you very much. Thanks for bringing enjoyment and laughter to all who knew you.
Not bad for a Granny Cat and Queen of the Floof!

The Friday Flashback - Cat-O-Lympics

Fin has been flashing back to the Cat-O-Lympics and we entered some of the events back in February 2010, so here was our entry for the synchronised snoozing.

Today we are entering the Synchronised Snoozing hosted by The Island Cats.

We got into our plant pots to get ourselves warmed up for the event.

Then we had a head to head to decide on our strategy. We have trained for this event for four years so we wanted to get it right.

This is it! We know we have to get it right first time and have gone straight for the Synchronised Snooze Snuggle.

Noteworthy Archive Award.

We were given the Noteworthy Archive Blog award by Chancy the Gardener who said they had read some of our archives and enjoyed them. We should now go and read through the archives of others to find some good long forgotten posts, but we have to admit we haven't been able to find the time. We can't even keep up with visiting our friends current posts.
However there is a post that stands out in our minds. We enjoyed it so much that we went back to look for it. The post is from Fin when she wrote about The Moon. If you haven't already read it we think you should do so. If you have read it, go back and read it again. It is well worth it and mum still laughs now just thinking about it.

PEE-ESS
Several of you asked about the wire cage I was in yesterday. It's okay, I am not a prisoner in there...yet. When the Beans are home, dad leaves it in the garden because we like to sunbathe on the shelf and we can go in and out as we please. When they go on holiday, it gets pushed against the garage wall and bolted to it for security and we can get into it from the garage so we get fresh air.
I don't usually get my breakfast brought out to me, but yesterday mum kept us waiting and I got fed up and laid down on the shelf. When she called me I couldn't be bothered to go in for it, so she brought it out for me.
