Eric the Photographer

Eric: We haven't taken the camera out for ages so mum charged it the other day. I said I would wear it because Flynn didn't really want to.

This is a big pipe that we pass every day. Flynn likes to go in and have a good sniff. I just had a quick look in. Those are my whiskers in the top of the picture.

This field is the other side of our purrison hedge and looks up towards the road.

I stopped to nom some grass and got a close up of it. Actually there were rather a lot of grass close ups, so I told mum she had better delete them.

This is looking up towards the top field. Dad is trying to hide behind a blade of grass.

Gotcha this time dad! Sorry I chopped your head off though.

This is looking towards the road again which is behind the fence.

Here are some daffodils. I'm afraid I had paw shake. Maybe I need to get a tripod.

There's dad again. I don't know why he is waiting with the gate open though because I will go under it.

Another grass close up. I needed some more nomming.

Back in the garden. That is the hammock frame. If the good weather keeps up, I think the swing seat will soon be out.

And then indoors. Here is our cat tree with some of our toys. I hope you enjoyed our outdoor stroll.

Flynn: Well Eric, I did try to tell you to keep your head up like this when you are taking photos. Most of what you took was blurry old grass and had to be deleted.

Eric: Well I got this photo of the grass and a bit of fence.

and what's wrong with this one of dad's tractor and trailer. I would even have got mum in it if she had kept still.

I am looking over the top of the grass and you can just see a bit of the river.

On the way back dad was just putting his small tractor away so I took his photo too.

Flynn : Okay but why did you take a photo of the wire fence?
Eric: Because it was there and I wanted to.

I wanted to take another picture of dad on the little tractor, but he had gone. This is our purrison fence that keeps us in the garden.

Eric: Anyway, I don't think I did too bad a job, and if you don't think it was good enough Flynn, you do it yourself next time.

Eric and Flynn- Photographer Cats.

Mum charged our camera up so we can go out and take some more photos.

Wait for us mum!

Eric: It was my turn to wear the camera first but I was a bit tired, so I laid down and had a roll. The silly camera rolled with me.

This is our favourite climbing tree. Flynn goes right out on the tiny little branches right up the top. I only go up the big branches. Those are my whiskers you can see across the photo.

This is a close up of the tree. I am sharpening my claws on it.

Flynn: It was my turn next and I wanted to do some nature shots so I took this close up of the grass and the hardhead weeds (plantain).

Then I took a shot of this clover. There are no 4 leaf ones here, but mum has found 2 at different times.

I wanted to get a close photo of Eric but he must have moved because I missed his head.

He marched off in disgust.

Eric: Mum put the camera back on me so I could show Flynn how to take a good photo.
We hope you have enjoyed your walk with us.

Eric: It was Flynn's turn to take the photos this week but he said I could do it again if I wanted to seeing as I did a good job last week.

My first photo was of dad's roller. We have to keep well away from it when he has it behind the big tractor because it would be very dangerous for us.

Then I took a photo in Buddy and Silver's field, but they didn't want their photos taken so kept out of the way.

This is the far end of their field. Mum says you can tell when it is me taking the photos because you can see my whiskers in all of them.

I took a photo of my dad. He looks very tall.

I was fed up with taking photos so I had a roll in the grass. It made the sky tip sideways. Flynn said he would take over so mum gave him the camera for the next photos.

Flynn: I took a photo of our dad to show Eric how to not make him look so tall.

Then I took a picture of Buddy and Silver's field, but they were still keeping out of the way.

On our way back I took a picture of my dad and Eric. Sorry dad, I chopped your head off like I do to mum.

Then we went in the field nearest to home and I took a shot of the top field where you can just see Snowdon and Danni.

On our way back to the garden I took a photo of the stables and Quest is looking over the fence waiting for his supper. After that we both went back in the garden to relax in the evening sun.

Eric: It was my turn to take the photos this time. Do you remember the mancat patrol photos that we posted on Monday? Well mum took those, and these are the ones that I took.

We were looking through the trees towards the river before we went into the first field.

The Monday before, mum took a photo of Flynn looking down across the field. I am sat in about the same place for taking this photo.

Flynn went over to the rough grass to see if he could see any mousies, so I took a photo of him.

Then I took a photo of him walking with mum. I seem to have chopped her head off.

Then I took this photo looking back up across the field with a nice pile of horse poop in it.

Then we went into the lower field. This bit is flat but then it goes into a steep hill to get to the bottom which is okay going down, but I had to keep resting my legs coming back up.

We got to the bottom and Flynn was looking towards the daffodils so I thought that would make a nice photo.

Then I looked back up the hill we had just come down and wondered if maybe mum would carry me back up. She didn't!!!

So I had a last look back along the bottom of the field before we made our slow way back up.
I think I am just as good as Flynn now at taking photos, don't you?

Flynn was going to take the photos today but we had icky worming stuff put on our necks and he was being sulky. He laid in the grass and kept the camera covered, so I told him I would do it.

This is usually the first field we go in so I took a photo of it. The drive up to the road is behind the post and rail fence.

Then we walked along to the next field and I took a photo of mum in front of me. It looks like that blade of grass is bigger than her haha!.
She told me to try and remember not to take photos of the sun. We don't know why the centre of it came out like a black dot.

Then I took a photo looking down to the river.

I took another photo of mum walking, and forgot and took the sun again with another black dot.

Then I took a photo looking down towards the hay barn. Mum says the grass looks very high from our perspective. She should realise the grass is high to us with our little legs. Hopefully Flynn won't be sulking next week and will take the next lot of photos.

We are sorry that mum confused some of you with the storage. She forgot she went back to the old dashboard and that is why it looks different for a lot of you. If you sign in to your picasa web albums, it tells you your usage right at the bottom of the page.
