Easy Like Sunday

We were walking in the field with mum and she stopped to let dad through the gate with his tractor, so we thought it was as good a time as any to take it easy while we waited for her.

Eric: Mum sez I should put the record straight about the ginger introoder yesterday. Well Grrreta more or less hit the nail on the head. I don't do nip. It's never had any affect on me, but when Flynn was playing with his new plague ratsie, I had to go and sniff it. I even licked it and sniffed it again. My head felt a bit strange. I felt like I was in the sky flying wiv the fev-vers. I went in the garden to clear my head and then I saw THE INTROODER! I told mum and Flynn and they went to look, but no matter how hard they looked, they couldn't see him. I can't understand it.

Flynn: during the hot weather, I like to sleep outdoors in my plant pot at night, but as soon as the Beans get up mum gets our breakfast and I come in to eat it. As soon as I have finished, I rush into the bedroom before mum has chance to make the bed and get under the bottom sheet. Mum says I am 'moling', as in burrowing like a mole. Eric usually joins me, but he always sleeps on top of the sheet. Mum calls us Hide a Lump and Heff a Lump when she sees us there. Very often we don't let her make the bed until the afternoon.

We had already done this post on Thursday night and scheduled it ahead for Sunday. We often do two or three posts at a time. Imagine our surprise when we visited the blog of Barb,Gandalf and Grayson's mum, Will Think For Wine on Friday morning and saw a similar post which had the exact same title as one of the tags we gave our post. As their mum said,'Great minds'!!

Dad has stolen some more of our grass is making some more hay for the horses and I have been helping him by checking it was drying properly. Then we had some man time together and took it easy lying on the grass in the sun.
Happy Father's Day to our dad from both of us and to all dads everywhere.

Eric: We do still have some more long grass, it just means I have to go further if I want to sit in it. I hope dad doesn't cut it too soon . He says as soon as the weather is good, it's all going to disappear like our other grass. I'm going to make the most of it and have an easy Sunday sitting in it. I may even nap in it.
Flynn: While Eric is guarding the grass, I am taking it easy on Sunday and stopping to smell the flowers.

This was what we were doing on the last Sunday before we were so cruelly locked up and deserted for two whole weeks. We were out enjoying the sun, lying in the grass with not a care in the world. How could our Beans betray us like that? We made mum schedule four posts for us so we wouldn't be forgotten, and we managed to get the compooter turned on a couple of times, but we know that we have missed a lot of our furrends purrfdays. To all of those we have missed, we say a belated happy purrfday to all of you. We hope mum is going to give us lots of blogging time to catch up again.

I have found my own little sunspot and I think I will sit here all day and let it warm my head.

We will have a baff then nap on the bed, and while we nap, we will try not to have nightmares about the vishus deer.


We read this in mum's noospaper earlier in the week and forgot to post about it. This is a warning to all tender and joosy young cats to always keep a can of Mao and Rocky's VDR with them.
This woofie will make sure he always takes a can with him in future.

We have been helping the Beans rebuild their heather garden this week and now it is time to rest.

If it's not raining we will go out to the horsies fields and find some hay they haven't eaten yet.

And then we can play in it.

Or just hang out in it.

And lie in it if we want to.

And even sit in it to have a bath.
If the horsies want to eat it they will just have to wait until we have finished.
