Easy Like Sunday.

We are back in our plant pots. The weather is too wet for sunbathing so we are spending lots of time in the greenhouse.

It is much drier in here until mum waters the tomatoes, but she is careful not to water us too.

Earlier in the week we had a couple of hours of sunshine and made the most of it on our shelf before the next lot of torrential rain.

It was good to just get outdoors again and feel the sun on our fur.

Eric: I had a bath but Flynn was too busy looking at the flashy box.

It was so nice and sunny that even I looked at mum for a photo too.......

but not for long.

We are hoping for another couple of hours of sun again today, and if we get it, this is how we will be having our easy.

We hope you all have a nice easy relaxing Sunday. We haven't been able to visit much the last couple of days, but we are hoping to catch up a bit today.

It stopped raining for a while at last so we managed to get out for a walk.

It was nice to just lie in the shade of the Oak tree.

Eric: I'm going back to see if it is supper time yet.

Flynn: I'm going to stay here a bit longer and enjoy the sun because I know it's not time to eat yet.

Easy Like Sunday - Eventually.

Eric: This can't be right! I'm the biggest mancat and I've ended up on the old smaller cat tree.

Flynn: This new tree is lovely and comfy with plenty of room for napping. Zzzzzzzzzz.

Eric: At last! That's much better.

Flynn: Hmphh! Might be for you.

Easy Like Sunday

When it was our birthday last Sunday, we got this nice new cat tree which is very good for taking it easy.

We got treats too. We don't usually get this many, only on our birthday.

They were very tasty and I nommed all of them.

There is a man cave in the cat tree too, but mum wasn't quick enough to get a photo of me in it.
Don't worry, Eric got lots of treats just like me but he wasn't around when mum took the photos. The top of the tree is bigger than our old one and Eric likes to stretch out on it. Mum has told him that he must smile nicely so she can get some photos of him on it. He gave her a very rude reply!

(Not So) Easy Like Sunday

Eric: We were in the field happily nomming on grass,

When suddenly I spied something that shouldn't be there.

I had to have a second look! An introoder had dared to come into our field!

I will sneak around from the side and catch him unawares. He will be scared when he sees me puffed up.


Huh? Who put that plastic bag in our field?

Of course I knew all along it was just a bag. How dare mum question my mancatliness and call me a scaredy cat. I was only practicing puffing up for when introoders do introod.

Easy Like Sunday

Eric: We have had good weather for the last week and it is getting warmer every day. The forecasters have said it will last well into next week, so I am getting my easy on the shelf of our purrison cage.

It's tiring work rolling in the sun.
The cage is only a purrison when it is bolted to the garage wall when the Beans go away. The rest of the time it is left on the edge of the lawn so we can sunbathe on the shelf.

It is a very good place for relaxing.

Might as well have a quick lick while I am here.

And a yawn and stretch.

Flynn: I prefer to lie on dad's concrete blocks.

They get nice and warm in the sun.

And I like to push my feet against the garage wall.

Eric: Actually I have heard a rumour that we are being deserted for a few days next week so it looks like I am going to get more sunbathing time than I realised. Flynn is doing our Mancat Monday post tomorrow and then we will be back on Friday with our flashback.

Flynn: The weather has turned sunny again and it is even getting warm in the sunshine so I will sit and admire the wild daffodils.

The horses are glad the weather is improving too.

Eric: I would like an easy Sunday too, but mum put the collar with the camera on me. Here's what I think of that!!!

This is how we are planning on spending our Sunday. If it turns out to be a nice sunny day we will move our napping to outdoors. Hope you all have a good Sunday too.
